SCHOOL VISITS
Small Group Session (50 people max. Ages 5 to 10 optimal) -- a literacy-based, group-interactive activity. And it's a lot of fun! We brainstorm illustrations for a simple story, Hank and Sam, fleshing out with pictures what the words leave vague. A standing easel is requested. (45 or 60 mins)
Group Presentation Session -- showing sketches, original artwork, with a discussion of materials, methods, of the creative process. drawing, reading from books, and taking questions. For large groups a digital projector is requested. (30 - 60 mins)
A maximum of five sessions per day. I will gladly take time to sign books. My per-day honorarium is based on what a school can pay. I do request travel expense reimbursement. If your school is within a two-hour drive of Amherst, Massachusetts, I need not stay overnight. Please contact me for details and schedule availability.
